YW Tech Lab 

presented by the YWCA Evanston/North Shore 

 

YW Tech Lab (formerly known as YWeb Career Academy) is FREE 3-month web development program facilitated by YWCA Evanston/North Shore in partnership with Oakton College. Their program aims to challenge and transform the narrative surrounding underrepresented individuals in the tech industry. This program provides intensive technical training for the foundation for web development with the goal of creating a more inclusive and vibrant tech community where diversity is celebrated. 

At YW Tech Lab, they go above and beyond simply teaching technical skills. YWCA Evanston/North Shore is committed to success by offering a holistic approach to learning experiences. They provide financial coaching, stipends to support childcare cost, and placement support to ensure each participant’s success. As they are currently recruiting for their Fall Cohort which begins on September 17th, visit their program page to get in contact with their team!
